The Best Online Supermarkets

Whether you regularly do your grocery shopping online or just on occasion, you might be interested to hear which online supermarkets are ranked best by your fellow Australians.

The good news is the 2022 Mozo People’s Choice Awards for Online Supermarkets have been revealed and there are some clear favourites.

In this year's awards, 2,068 people were surveyed about 6 online supermarkets and asked about their satisfaction and experiences with these companies.

While there are a few different options on the market for Australians to choose between, Woolworths proved the standout in this year's People’s Choice Awards, winning awards in 4 out of the 7 categories. Harris Farm, too, is another lead contender, winning the other 3 awards.

In last year's People’s Choice Awards, Woolworths was a clear winner, taking out all 7 awards. But this year, the tables have turned, and Harris Farm has officially entered the competition.

In terms of the overall most recommended supermarket for online grocery shopping, Harris Farm won – but depending on what you’re looking for, Woolworths and Harris Farm are both good options when it comes to online supermarkets and are definitely the clear favourites amongst Australians.

In the Outstanding Customer Satisfaction category, Woolworths took out a win, so if customer service and satisfaction are important to you, you may want to consider doing your online grocery shopping with Woolworths.

If you’re looking for the freshest products, Australians voted first for Harris Farm in the Freshness category above all other online supermarkets. However, if you’re looking for a supermarket with the widest range of products, Woolworths was the winner.

Woolworths was this year’s winner in the Online Shopping Experience Category, meaning that Australians prefer the online experience of shopping with Woolworths over other contenders.

Depending on how you like to receive your online grocery shopping, Woolworths or Harris Farm may both be good options. Woolworths won this year’s award for Click and Collect; however, Harris Farm took out the award for Delivery.
