If you’re comparing NBN50 plans, chances are you're after a well-rounded connection to support a household of 2 to 4 people. With an NBN50 plan, multiple users can do things like streaming, online gaming, video calling or working from home.

On its XL Speed Boost plan, customers receive a typical evening speed of 50Mbps, unlimited data and don’t have to pay any set-up fees. Plus, this plan comes with a no lock-in contract. So what makes Tangerine stand out? Well, for the first six months customers can save $15 a month, and will pay $54.90 per month and $69.90 per month after (same min. costs). And if you would like to try before you buy, that’s no problem - there’s a 14-day NBN trial up for grabs, whereby Tangerine will provide a full refund on your plan fee (not the modem) if you cancel within the two-week period. Currently, modem fees with Tangerine range from $199.90 to $339.85, or you can opt to bring your own modem for $0.

This plan comes with unlimited data and a $10.95 discount for the first 6 months! Customers pay $54 per month for the first six months, which then reverts to $64.95 a month (same min. costs unless if you opted for the NBN Phone Bundle. The min. total cost for the NBN Bundle = the sum of the NBN & NBN Phone one monthly access charge + the activation charge + postage. So, you'd be charged $54/m (for the first 6 months, then $64.95/m thereafter) + $10 + $20 = $84 / $94.95). This plan has a no lock-in contract, a typical evening speed of 50Mbps, no set-up fee and unlimited data. Along with no set-up fee when you activate your Internode NBN50 Unlimited plan, there is a $20 per month discount on offer for the first six months. That means customers pay $59.99 per month and then $79.99 per month after the first six months (same min. costs). This plan comes with a typical evening speed of 50Mbps and unlimited data. Plus, it’s a no lock-in contract, so you don’t have to commit to the offer and can switch plans any time. It’s important to note, Internode gives customers the option to buy a modem from them for a $59.95 or for $0 they can bring their own.
