Key features

The Bankwest Zero Platinum Credit Card has a standard purchase rate of 14.99% p.a. but comes with up to 55 interest free days. It has no annual fee which really sets it apart from many other platinum cards in the market and it's a great card to take travelling or use when shopping online as there is no foreign transaction fee.

If you have debt on another card you want to transfer over, for a limited time there is an offer for new Zero Mastercard customers which includes no annual fee, no foreign transaction fees and 0% p.a. on balance transfers for 26 months (with an one-off 2% balance transfer fee, other fees and T&Cs also apply). After this introductory period, any remaining balance will revert to the standard 14.99% p.a. purchase rate.

The platinum perks of the Zero Platinum card include complimentary overseas travel insurance for you and the family. You'll be covered for the basics, but there are some policy limits and exclusions so be sure to check out the policy details before travelling.

The card also has extended warranty, purchase security and price guarantee insurance, which means that if you find a cheaper printed purchase price within 21 days you can claim the difference (minimum of $75).
