For the first time in our annual People’s Choice Awards, we asked close to 4,000 Aussies to tell us which fitness providers were their top choices. 

“With Aussies becoming more health conscious after numerous lockdowns and an influx of new gyms opening across the country, we thought it would be fitting to add gym services into our survey for 2022,” said Mozo’s research manager, Peter Marshall.

“To find the top dogs in the world of fitness, we asked the masses which gyms they loved and why.”

F45

F45 opened its doors in 2012 in Sydney with the idea of offering exercise classes in just 45 minutes. With more than 1,750 locations worldwide and jaw dropping before and after images circulating on social media, it comes as no surprise that Aussies are raving about F45. That’s how it earned six awards in the 2022 People’s Choice Award.

It was crowned victorious in the following categories:

  • Quality Facilities
  • Helpful Staff
  • Class Variety and Availability
  • Excellent Equipment
  • Outstanding Customer Satisfaction

Snap Fitness

Snap Fitness was rated by its customers as having the most attentive staff to provide advice and lend a helping hand. So, it's little surprise this fitness provider also took out five different titles in our 2022 People’s Choice Award. This global brand with over 2,000 locations worldwide was a standout winner this year scoring votes from everyday Aussies across the most categories of all gyms, including the awards for:

  • Outstanding Customer Satisfaction
  • Value for Money
  • Excellent Equipment
  • Membership Flexibility
  • Most Recommended

Jetts

Jetts first opened its doors in 2007 on the Gold Coast and was one of the first gyms on the market to offer 24/7 access, no lock-in contracts, low fees and great policies. Fast-forward to the 2022 People's Choice Award and now Jetts has a global network of over 280 gyms worldwide. So, it comes as no surprise when it won the Value for Money and Membership Flexibility categories this year.

Anytime Fitness

With more than 4,000 locations worldwide Anytime Fitness was awarded the crown for most Helpful Staff by everyday Aussies in the 2022 People’s Choice Award. The gym features hands-on trained staff that work with you to create an exercise plan for all fitness levels. With a helpful team available it's no wonder Australians voted for Anytime Fitness for the helpfulness category.

Goodlife Health Clubs

With over 80 clubs around Australia, Goodlife Health Clubs was awarded the medal for best Class Variety and Availability as well as Quality Facilities by its members. Featuring an array of group fitness classes suitable for all fitness levels, Goodlife’s approach to diverse exercise options is second to none according to Aussie workout fans.
