“This is the Voiceee!!” That’s right, folks! Australia’s fave chair-turning talent show is returning to your screens in August 2023. 

For its twelfth season on the air, The Voice Australia will kick things off with a new mega-star coach (read on to find out who it is!).

This year’s season of The Voice Australia officially starts at 7:00pm (AEST) on Sunday, the 6th of August 2023.

Who are the coaches on The Voice Australia 2023?

Returning as coaches on The Voice Australia this year are Aussie music icons Jessica Mauboy and Guy Sebastian. These two coaches both got their start in music as contestants on ‘Australian Idol’ in 2006 and 2003, respectively.

As for international coaches, Rita Ora will return to the coaching panel for a third season – joined by The Voice Australia newcomer coach Jason DeruloOo! Don’t lie. The voice in your head totally just sang his name, didn’t it?

Who's hosting The Voice Australia 2023?

This year Sonia Kruger (who recently won the TV WEEK Gold Logie for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television at the 2023 Logie Awards) will host The Voice Australia.

What’s the prize if you win The Voice?

While there’s no confirmation on what this year’s prize will be, last year’s winner of The Voice scored a whopping $100,000 cash prize and a recording contract with Universal Music Australia.
