Engie electricity and gas plans and packages

Engie offers a range of competitive energy plans from individual electricity options to dual fuel services. The tariffs, discounts and terms of each energy package vary depending on which state you live in and energy plan you choose. You may be eligible for a number of attractive discounts off your electricity or gas bills if you opt for e-billing and pay on time via direct debit or automatic payment from your credit card. Engie's plans have no termination fees or lock-in contracts.

There is a loyalty rebate available with some Engie's plans when you sign up for a contract for 12 months. Engie also offers energy plans exclusively tailored to members of its partner organisations such as RAA, NRMA, Village Cinemas, Big 4 Holiday Parks and WA Seniors. These plans generally offer additional benefits such as bonus gifts and vouchers from online retailers.

Engie features to keep in mind

Renewable energy

You can support the renewable energy industry by adding GreenPower to your Engie electricity plan at any time. When you purchase GreenPower, Engie will purchase the equivalent amount of electricity from accredited renewable energy generators such as wind turbines and solar panels and add it to the national electricity grid on your behalf.

Energy efficiency solutions

There is a range of energy efficiency solutions on offer to help you reduce your household’s impact on the environment and save money including rooftop solar power systems and LED lighting. Engie also offers customers access to its online store where you can purchase energy saving products.

Easy bill payment

With Engie you can choose between online, automatic or in person payment methods. You can pay your energy bill via direct debit, BPAY or credit card. If you aren’t comfortable with Internet or phone banking, you can mail a cheque to Engie or pay in person at the post office. You can also register online or download the MyPost Digital Mailbox app which will give you a friendly notification when your Engie bill is issued.

Pay by instalments

If you think paying your energy bill all in one go each quarter is draining your finances, Engie also gives the option to pay in instalments up until the due date of your electricity or gas bill.

Manage your account online

You can manage your customer account with Engie completely online and hassle free. With a digital account, you’ll be able to view your bills whenever you like, sign up for a direct debit agreement and even update your details. To create your online account, simply fill in your customer number (shown on the bottom of your bill), surname and postcode - and you’re done!

Concessions and rebates

You may be eligible for a state based energy concession or rebate on your Engie bill. For instance, there is a Medical Cooling Concession available to residents in Queensland and a Life Support Concession for New South Wales residents who meet the eligibility requirements.
