We have had nothing but extremely amazing help with RAC CAR INSURANCE and they have helped us when things have been quite stressful eg after an accident.
I previously worked for a different insurance company for 9 years. They were good to start out with - competitive prices and decent cover but unfortunately their recent prices have sky rocketed. I have done lots of research on RAC before taking insurance out on my car and I can confidently say that I would trust them more than other providers come claims time. Friendly customer service, probably one of the only insurers you can actually trust and they also provide discounts if you are a roadside assistance member. You can also use your roadside assistance member card for discounts on fuel at certain petrol stations.
Rac have been brilliant because of loyalty with them for almost 35 years. They have looked after me so many times. I dont pay huge car insurance because of that long term loyalty. I get a much better deal from them than anyone else can do. I called a number of different company's and rac flattened all of them by quite a big margin. It didn't even get more expensive after being working in Indonesia for 8 years then returning, buying another car and re funding my current insurance..luv these guys. They rally know what loyalty is worth.
My partner and I recommend RAC insurance to everyone. When we first got our car and needed to insure it, I was still on my P plates for another 2 months - RAC were the first insurer we found that would still offer us insurance, and at a reasonable price! We had to do a claim 1.5 years into having this insurance due to theft, a hire car was covered for 2 months and arranged within hours of me calling about it. Our car seat and valuables from within the car were all replaced with no hassle. RAC arranged all of the required repairs when our car was recovered. Payments were made to us immediately and all emails and phone calls were quickly followed up on. My parents are with another insurer and had to make a claim at the same time for the same incident, it took 6 months to get resolved and was not as big of a claim as ours. When someone was charged for the theft, we were then reimbursed our excess! Every person I spoke with was kind and helpful. They were extremely knowledgable and the process for submitting the claim was so clear. We went on to also get home insurance with RAC as we are that happy with the service.
I own a 4x4 with a lot of mods so I compared at least 5 insurance quotes and policies before committing to anything and not only was RAC the cheapest, but they had the best breakdown of coverage that was the easiest to understand, they covered me for what I wanted covered and they were the easiest to sign up with. I haven't experienced any Cons yet.
Insurance companies are only as good as their claims department when you need them. RAC have proved to be very helpful and supportive when we've needed them over the years. They have been co-operative in working through any issue we've had to deal with. They are priced competitively and RAC of WA are based in W.A. I would be happy to recommend others to get an online quote from RAC of WA. I am also appreciative of their helicopter support for our communities. Thank you RAC.

While the customer service team is always helpful, the process of filing a claim can be time-consuming and confusing. Secondly, I have found that the RAC's roadside assistance service can sometimes be slow to respond. All in all, I would highly recommend RAC car insurance to anyone in Western Australia. The pros far outweigh the cons, and the company's commitment to customer service and comprehensive coverage make it a reliable choice for car insurance. However, it's important to be aware of the potential drawbacks, such as the sometimes cumbersome claims process and slower roadside assistance response times.
Changed to RAC years ago when I was quoted a significant amount cheaper than my insurer at the time. My daughter wrote her car off and the whole claim was settled quickly and with ease. The new premium after that wasn’t much more and no one has been able to match it since. Very happy with them and recommend to anyone who asks.
I have other insurance and had a crash they weren't even open to call them. But RAC is local i WA. and when I have an unlucky other crash they were great.
Rac is very reliable, whenever I've had a breakdown or an accident, I know that I can count on RAC to get me back on the road quickly and safely. The RAC roadside assistance team is always prompt and professional, and they've helped me out of some sticky situations over the years. In addition to their excellent road assistance service, I also appreciate the range of benefits and discounts that RAC offers to their car insurance customers. The premiums are reasonable, and I feel that I'm getting good value for my money.
