What bank accounts are there?

Whilst most people only usually have an everyday bank account and savings account, there are multiple different types of bank accounts that are available depending on different needs that bank providers need to meet.


Transaction account

This would be your usual everyday bank account that is often connected to a debit card. Transaction accounts along with savings accounts are also where most people usually have their wages deposited. 


Business account

Businesses usually open this kind of financial account to manage their company's funds. It separates the financial transactions of a business from personal transactions of the owner which makes it easier to track expenses, manage cash flow, and maintain a clear record for tax purposes.


Kids account

These bank accounts are geared towards kids with many usually having no fees. A kids bank account can be a great way for parents to give their children a safe place to put their pocket money or allowance. On top of that, it’s a nice way to get them thinking early on about finances and how they can manage their money.
