Get ready cause Olivia Rodrigo’s second album ‘GUTS’ drops on Friday, the 8th of September, 2023. Now that’s a good ‘new music Friday’ if I’ve ever seen one!
‘GUTS’ comes as a long-awaited follow-up to Rodrigo’s 2021 debut album ‘SOUR’, which featured ‘Driver’s Licence’, the breakout single that sky-rocketed her into pop stardom.
The single was said to be inspired by Olivia’s breakup with ex (and co-star on Disney’s ‘High School Musical: The Musical: The Series’) Joshua Basset.
It’ll be interesting to see where the singer-songwriter takes her global audience with this new piece of work. Fans got a taste test of what’s to come from ‘GUTS’ with Olivia’s latest single ‘Vampire’, which dropped in late June.
