Coles Basic Pet Insurance*

Coles’ Basic pet insurance offers an annual benefit limit of up to $10,000 for accidental injury and some illnesses, with reimbursement for up to 100% of eligible vet bills, and $200 excess when making claims.

  • Up to $10,000 annual benefit limit
  • Up to 100% back on eligible vet bills
  • $200 excess for claims 
  • Accidental injury cover (including bone fractures, torn nails, and lacerations)
  • Illness cover (limited to cancer, cruciate ligament, joint dysplasia, and luxation)
  • Essential euthenasia up to $500
  • Tick paralysis treatment (up to $2,500)
  • Cured pre-existing conditions cover.

Coles Comprehensive + Routine Care Pet Insurance*

Coles’ Comprehensive pet insurance offers an annual benefit limit of up to $12,000 for accidental injury and specified illnesses, with reimbursement for up to 100% of eligible vet bills, and $200 excess when making claims.

Features worth noting with Coles’ Comprehensive pet insurance policy include:

  • Up to $12,000 annual benefit limit
  • Up to 100% back on eligible vet bills
  • Accidental injury cover (including bone fractures, torn nails, and lacerations)
  • Illness cover (for 19 common illnesses)
  • Cruciate ligament cover (up to $3,000) 
  • Tick paralysis treatment (up to $2,500)
  • Cured pre-existing conditions cover
  • Essential euthanasia up to $500.

Coles’ Routine Care Lite or Plus*, an optional extra benefit, can be added to your policy to provider extra cover for:

  • Vet consultations
  • Vaccinations
  • Dental check-ups (Routine Care Plus only)
  • Alternative or complementary therapy (Routine Care Plus only)
  • Behavioural therapy (Routine Care Plus only). 

The Routine Care* optional benefits must be purchased on top of a Coles Comprehensive pet insurance policy in order to get coverage for those non-insurance benefits.

Coles Premium + Routine Care Pet Insurance*

Coles’ Premium pet insurance offers an annual benefit limit of up to $15,000 for all injuries, accidents, and illnesses, with reimbursement for up to 100% of eligible vet bills, and $200 excess when making claims.

Features worth noting with Coles’ Premium pet insurance policy include:

  • Up to $15,000 annual benefit limit
  • Up to 100% back on eligible vet bills
  • Cover for injuries and accidents (including bone fractures, torn nails, and lacerations)
  • Cover for over 3,000 illnesses
  • Cruciate ligament cover (up to $3,500)
  • Tick paralysis treatment (up to $2,500)
  • Cured pre-existing conditions cover
  • Essential euthenasia up to $500.

Coles’ Routine Care Lite or Plus*, an optional extra benefit, can be added to your policy to provider extra cover for:
